December 31st Meeting

We will be gathering for a time of meditation on God's Word, prayer, and singing on New Year's Eve at 7:30 PM at the South Himsworth Park, 7 Glendale Heights Dr, Powassan. There will be a time for fellowship, refreshments, and games afterwards.

December 25th Service

There will be a service on Christmas Day at 11:00 AM at the Powassan Curling Club, with time for coffee and fellowship afterwards. All are welcome!

Wednesday Bible Studies

Wednesday Bible Studies on the Gospel of Luke are being held at 7:30 PM at the Chisholm United church, at 1469 Chiswick Line, about 8 kilometers east of Powassan. There will be no Bible study on Wednesday, December 23 or Wednesday, December 30. We plan to resume at the same location on January 6th.

Sunday Worship

Sunday worship services are being held upstairs in the Powassan Sportsplex, 433 Main Street, Powassan at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM.

Sunday, November 1

Services will be held at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, 345 Landsdowne St., Callander, ON. This location change is due to a scheduled power outage in Powassan and surrounding areas.

Maple Syrup Festival

Our church is planning to set up a booth at the Powassan Maple Syrup Festival which will be held on April 25th from about 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The festival is held along Main Street, with vendors, crafts, family events, food, and maple syrup. The focus of our outreach is a book table where we will be giving away good Christian literature. This offers us the opportunity to speak to people about the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ and invite them to learn more about our church. You are most welcome to come on out and meet us!

Good Friday Service

A Good Friday service was held at the Powassan Curling Club on Friday, April 3rd at 11:00 AM.
